Position Title: District Receptionist FLSA Status: Hourly Reports to: Executive Administrative Assistant & PACE Principal Classification: 12 Month Supervises: N/A Term: 261 Compensation Range: $15.76 - DOE Site: District Office POSITION SUMMARY: The District Receptionist is responsible for answering phones, greeting guests, and providing assistance at the district office. This role includes recording attendance in the student information system as parents report student absences for PACE students. Additionally, the position involves managing the PACE bookstore, which includes handling and recording fees, maintaining accurate records, and performing other related tasks. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required.
  • An Associate’s Degree or equivalent is preferred.

  • Spanish speaking preferred. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Receptionist:
  • Perform general clerical duties as requested.
  • Exhibits patience, courtesy, and tact when dealing with others.
  • Greets visitors, determines nature of business, and directs visitors to destination.
  • Answers telephone to provide information, take messages, or transfer calls.
  • Sorts, delivers incoming/outgoing mail.
  • Assist superintendent’s office as needed.
  • Utilizes Raptor System. Attendance Clerk/PACE:
  • Responsible for attendance records, withdrawal information, personal student information, and other mandated data for all student populations both electronically and manually.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding attendance records.
  • Assemble attendance data for Site Principal as needed.
  • Responsible for attending various mandated meetings as assigned. Bookstore Technician/PACE:
  • Prepares daily deposits, counts cash drawers, and maintains an accurate count of bookstore money.
  • Assist students and parents with school-related transactions and answering questions.
  • Maintain proper documentation and/or deposits from sales, fees, fundraisers and donations.
  • Handle merchandise inventory and sales
  • Data entry
  • Enter donations into Touch Pay
  • Communicate and assist with completion of proper paperwork with teachers and club sponsors.
  • Complete End-of-Perod (EOP) reports and year end audits. (These essential functions are not to be construed as an exhaustive statement of all duties performed. Employees will be required to perform other job-related duties as required.) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

  • Experience developing, implementing, and leading training for a variety of staff and teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize complex and sensitive information, as well as ability to manage and prioritize complex tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to deal professionally with sensitive and confidential issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal, diplomacy and conflict management/resolution skills.
  • Ability to articulate, represent professional demeanor and ability to take initiative.
